Our activities included the development of fact sheets exploring the relationship between Covid-19 and human rights, and the collection of personal narratives of how Covid-19 is affecting people’s rights.

Our 2020 Indicator Report focused heavily on the local impact
We made a Submission to the Inquiry by the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights into the impact of the Government’s Covid-19 Emergency Powers
From March to July 2020, the York Human Rights City Network collected data from individuals and civil sector organisations and groups about their experience of the national and local response to Covid-19. This information was submitted as evidence to the Joint Committee on Human Rights Inquiry into the impact of the Government’s COVID-19 legislation which you can view here.
