Community Voices Quarterly – World Mental Health Day action/planning

August 10, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

The Community Voices project aims to encourage new ways of participation for civil society groups and those individuals whose voices are rarely heard by local government. The quarterly meetings are an opportunity for organisations and individuals to come together to identify commonalities across sectors, and develop ideas and actions in relation to these issues.

At the last meeting, the group identified mental health as a priority issue, and agreed to “do something” for Mental Health Day in October.

Join us for the meeting, during which guest speaker Stephen Wright, of Tees, Esk & Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) will provide a brief overview of York’s mental health service provision and future plans.

Please pass these details along to anyone in your networks that you think would be interested in joining the meeting.

If you require any assistance, or translation services, please email info@yorkhumanrights.org and we will try to arrange this.
