Fairtrade in a time of covid

As part of York International Women’s Week Festival, York Fair Trade Forum and Shared Interest bring you a unique opportunity to hear direct from people working with Fairtrade farmers and workers in Kenya and Ghana.

Immaculate Ochieno is Shared Interest’s Lending Manager for East Africa. She will talk about projects that promote gender equality in the region.

Kodzo Korkortsi is the manager of Shared Interest’s Livelihood Security Fund. He will talk about the measures the fund is supporting in West Africa, and how Fairtrade is promoting women farmers and workers around the region.

This event is part of the Fairtrade Connections arts festival for Fairtrade Fortnight 2021.
