Special showing of the documentary Citizen Jane: Battle for the City about legendary writer and urban activist Jane Jacobs who took on City planners to save historic NYC neighborhoods from the redevelopment plans of power broker Robert Moses in the 1960s.

York Central Action requested that City Screen show the film because of its relevance to planning in York at present – the Local Plan etc..

There will be a panel discussion afterwards.
