September 2, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Free

Speaker(s): Dr Soumitra Pathare (Director, Centre for Mental Health Law and Policy, Indian Law Society); Prof Carol Brayne (Director, Cambridge Institute of Public Health); Prof Martin Webber (Director, International Centre for Mental Health Social Research, York); Dr Antonella Santuccione-Chadha (Roche Diagnostic); Dr MariaTeresa Ferretti (Chief Scientific Officer, Women’s Brain Project)

Improving mental health for everyone around the world is one of the most pressing concerns in global public health today, but doing so requires multi-faceted solutions that rely on cooperation between many stakeholders, and a better understanding of the political, social, economic and cultural determinants of health. This seminar brings together an expert interdisciplinary panel to discuss past and current challenges to delivering better mental health, and the possible ways forward.
