Launch of Direct Payment Peer Support Group

FREENorth Yorkshire County Council and The University of York are working together to set up a user led group for people who are in receipt of a direct payment or personal budget in the York and Selby areas.
The launch event for a Direct Payment Peer Support Group will be on Tuesday 11th June at 11am at the University of York (The Ron Cook Hub).
The purpose of this event is for people who receive a direct payment to meet and discuss their experiences of receiving a direct payment. There will be some speakers who will share how they use their direct payment and time for people to share information in an informal way.
