MAKE SPACE – RETHINKING PARKS FOR GIRLS AND WOMEN

What makes a park ‘welcoming’ to women and girls? How do you encourage more women/older girls back into these public spaces and reverse the drop off of use as girls enter their teens? Join us to share ideas in an interactive session that is thought provoking and empowering! A chance to find out what we’ve done so far in Rowntree Park, and what could happen moving forward in our park, and other York parks.
