When: Saturday 11th March | 10:00-15:00
Where: The Garden Room, York Explore Library, Library Square, Museum Street, York YO1 7DS. https://exploreyork.org.uk/york-explore
Cost: Free to attend and no extra costs as all fabric will be supplied on the day. People need to book via the online booking site on the York Learning website or over the phone, details above. Please don’t just turn up on the day without booking as we need to ensure there are enough sewing machines available.
Access: Ramped/sloped access, accessible toilet, changing place, limited disabled parking, wheelchair accessible (but please inform us at enrolment to assist room set up). No hearing loop. Full details at: https://bit.ly/Explore-access
DESCRIPTION: Save money and help the environment by making a reusable, washable, morsbag that will last for years . . . from recycled fabric. Make it as a gift or keep the one you make on the day and make more at home, and beware, it’s addictive! We’ll be using sewing machines on the day, so a very basic knowledge of sewing or how to use a machine is an advantage, but not essential.
