About This event is aimed at everybody! Disabled people and non-
disabled people, including policy makers who want to gain

a better understanding of models of disability, language,
inclusion and Independent Living. I hope that sharing my
experiences, with some funny, some shocking experiences
along the way, will enable participants to gain an insight
into barriers which prevent disabled people being able to
participate in every aspect of society on an equal basis.
