Race and Racism in Modern Britain

June 6, 2017 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

FREE but booking required

Tues 6 June, 7.40pm to 8.30pm K133, King’s Manor, Exhibition Square

In 2014 journalist Reni Eddo-Lodge wrote about her frustration with the way discussions of race and racism in Britain were constantly being led by those who weren’t affected by it. She posted the piece on her blog under the title: ‘Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People about Race’. It went viral – and is now a book. Join Reni for a searing, illuminating, exploration of what racism means in Britain today.
