About this event
Maggie Oliver
Maggie Oliver, resigned Detective from Greater Manchester Police in late 2012 who whistle-blew in order to expose the now infamous Rochdale Grooming Scandal. Founder of The Maggie Oliver Foundation, supporting survivors of childhood sexual abuse and exploitation to turn the pain of their abuse into power. Shining a light on injustice and give a voice to those so often left powerless, working with trusted media partners when all other routes have failed. Everyone’s experience of sexual abuse is different. Without support, survivors are often isolated and alone, with no knowledge of where to turn for the help and advice they need to begin rebuilding their shattered lives. We provide a safe place for survivors to be heard. – The Maggie Oliver Foundation
