DESCRIPTION |
Semi autobiographical story of the everyday life of a Saudi schoolgirl, revealing scant opportunities for change and obstacles encountered every day as a female. Shining example of artistic work that has made a woman’s creative and political voice heard globally. This historic first ever cinema feature film directed by a Saudi Arabian woman became an international award winner. We also hope to include live discussion with a modern young Saudi Arabian woman on her own experiences of life in her culture. |
