St Nick’s Evening Conservation Group – Scything, raking and sowing

August 29 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us in making the most of our glorious summer evenings as we manage and improve our local natural habitats and support the wonderful wildlife that can be found on your doorstep. Sessions will take place at St Nicks and other York Urban Becks sites including Heworth Holme, Wolfe Avenue Woodland, Hemplands and Derwenthorpe.

Throughout May and June tasks will focus on Himalayan Balsam removal, and in July and August we will be mainly scything , raking and sowing wildflowers into the various habitats, so there is something for everyone!
