THE WOMEN IN THE ROOM’ A TALK BY NAN SLOANE

March 21 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Learn about the forgotten story of women in the development of the Labour and trade union movements, the campaign for workers’ rights, and the fight against  poverty.  The great issues that first stirred them – low wages, insecure work, child poverty and gender inequality – remain problems today. Nan Sloane’s book ‘The Women in the Room’ not only shows us how much these women achieved, but reminds us how much we still have to do.

FREE but need to book tickets in advance – https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-women-in-the-room-in-conversation-with-nan-sloane-tickets-55032160674

Step-free access and accessible toilets.  Hearing loop. Limited free disabled parking.
