Time to Change York
August 7 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Time to Change York is a new local campaign to end mental health stigma and discrimination for residents and visitors of York (it is also part of the wider national and global Time to Change campaign). This is achieved through people sharing their personal lived experiences of mental health problems at any scale, whether formally diagnosed or not, and in a variety of settings, such as through everyday conversations, online via blogs and social media, and in the workplace.
If you are an individual with lived experience or somebody who know’s or works with some one who has (that’d be most of us then, statistically speaking…) please come along to the Priory Street Centre for a couple of hours from 10am on Wed 7th August to find out more and to influence the work (follow this link to book your free place via Eventbrite). York CVS is inviting you, the residents, health professionals, education providers, clubs and societies, large employers, and small local businesses of York to join in, because no-one should feel ashamed to talk about mental health.
If you are not able to attend, but would like to find out more, please email Emma on firstname.lastname@example.org
