WE Collaborate: South Asian Heritage Month
July 28 @ 5:30 pmFree – 12£
About this event
The Women’s Equality Party brings you the WE Collaborate event series, an online event series to connect and empower feminists to build and support communities and movements across the UK.
In the first event in the series, Mandu Reid, party leader, discusses the importance of decolonialisation, and South Asian heritage and history within the UK.
WE Collaborate: South Asian Heritage Month will bring together activists, academics and organisations from across the sector to talk about the importance of representation, recognition and commemoration.
The incredible panel joining Mandu on 28th July, at 5:30pm will be announced very shortly!
This interactive online event is not just another Zoom meeting. WE encourage you to bring questions and challenges to the table, and to use the WE Collaborate event series to discover and form alliances and networks of your own.
Please note that at the Women’s Equality Party, we rely on your support to keep campaigning on vital issues such as climate justice and gender equality. Your donations are vitally important in continuing to host events like these, and ensuring they are free to those who cannot afford to pay. Please consider adding the suggested donation of £2 when you register to attend.
