‘What makes an individual a human rights defender?’
On the panel are:
Nikki-Lee Clarke – a caseworker supporting asylum seekers and refugees in the Calderdale area
Johncation Muhindo – fellow at CAHR and civic activist in Uganda
Andrei Paluda – fellow at CAHR and coordinator of the campaign ‘Human Rights Defenders against the Death Penalty in Belarus’
These amazing people will be explaining why their work is so important and how YOU can be a ‘human rights defender.’
Questions will be taken from the audience so make sure you take this unique opportunity to attend and get your brains thinking.
