Fairtrade Fortnight lasts from 25 February to 10 March and the theme this year is "She Deserves a Living Wage". The campaign focuses on women cocoa farmers and the difference a living income can make in their lives.

WOMEN & FAIR TRADE: TASTING PREMIUM ORGANIC COFFEE

Tasting percolated organic fair trade coffee grown by women farmers in Nicaragua or Peru and supplied through women farmers' co-operatives. These co-ops improve the status of all women in machismo societies by demonstrating that women farmers can successfully conduct their affairs despite the disadvantages of poor access to education etc, disadvantages rectified by the activities of the co-operatives themselves. Wheelchair accessible; no public toilet.
