Empowering women cocoa farmers. Tasting Divine chocolate made with cocoa from Kuapa Kokoo cocoa farmers' co-operative in Ghana. Both organisations work to     empower women - achieved by ensuring women have equal access to training / education, giving them unprecedented opportunities to speak about their lives around the world, with literacy and numeracy programmes arranged to give women the skills and confidence to stand up and be heard. HOW WOMEN ARE BANNING NUCLEAR WEAPONS

It is an exciting time, as a UN nuclear weapons global ban treaty is open for             signatures. The treaty, known as the TPNW, outlaws the development, possession or threat to use nuclear weapons. Previously, nuclear weapons were the only weapons of mass destruction without a complete ban, despite their catastrophic humanitarian consequences. Come along to find out about the treaty and women’s role in its creation, and hear from fantastic speakers. FREE, but donations welcome.
