£5

An evening of pot painting with a fair trade theme. York Fair Trade Forum is celebrating 15 years of Fairtrade City status in March 2019 and will celebrate with an evening of pot painting. Let your creativity and imagination go wild and create your own pot to celebrate the 15th anniversary. Stencils of the Fairtrade mark will be available if you would like your design to incorporate it. The Forum will be joined by the civic party and a group of 15 year olds - people who were born in 2004, the first year of York's Fairtrade City status and who have grown up with the city as a bastion of fair trade. Your £5 ticket includes Fairtrade refreshments and can be reclaimed as part payment for your completed pot. Prices for a complete painted and fired pot range from £8 for a small plate to £14 for a cup and they'll be available to collect from Bish Bash Pot about a week later. If you would like to sponsor one of the 15-year-olds to join the event please select an additional ticket then email joanna@fairtradeyork.com.
