Economic evaluation for adult social care: York workshop

This workshop is aimed at non-economists interested in adult social care. The workshop will introduce the aims and methods of economic evaluations (such as cost-effectiveness analysis) without much technical detail, and provide illustrations. The workshop will also introduce the ESSENCE project, funded by NIHR School for Social Care Research. Further details about the project can be found at http://essenceproject.uk. The workshop will start at 11.00 with registration and refreshments from 10.30 and finish by 16.00. This workshop is free to attend, but late cancellations or no shows will be charged £25. Cancellations should be sent in writing to pssru@lse.ac.uk by 5pm on 26 August 2019. The workshop will also be held in London on 17 July 2019 (http://economicssocialcarelondon.eventbrite.co.uk).

Join us in making the most of our glorious summer evenings as we manage and improve our local natural habitats and support the wonderful wildlife that can be found on your doorstep. Sessions will take place at St Nicks and other York Urban Becks sites including Heworth Holme, Wolfe Avenue Woodland, Hemplands and Derwenthorpe. Throughout May and June tasks will focus on Himalayan Balsam removal, and in July and August we will be mainly scything , raking and sowing wildflowers into the various habitats, so there is something for everyone!
