Peg-it in the Groves

Join us for a fantastic peg-it session in The Groves, we'll be completing a series of mini workouts and running between different locations. This is a sociable and fun fitness session, if you can run for ten minutes without stopping, you'll definitely be fit enough! If you can run much further/faster, you have the option of taking on extra challenges to push yourself too - there is something for everybody. The meet point for the start of the session is on Haxby Road, opposite the end of Neville Street, right outside the park boundary. FAQs Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Participants must be aged 16 or over What's the refund policy? We are unable to give refunds for this event but we are happy to transfer your ticket to someone else so long as you send us their details at least 24 hours before the session start time. What should I bring/wear? We're running around exercising outdoors. We don't run anywhere purposefully muddy but it's possible that you will get muddy, so wear trainers and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and sweaty! We recommend that you carry water.

For all those who have never been able to have children, whose children have died or moved away, who never wanted children, who are estranged from their children… the question is “Who will speak up for me and lend a hand when I can no longer cope on my own?” Is the state the answer, charities, self-help? Weekly pop-up fitness at Millennium Bridge

Join us at Millennium Fields for free, weekly fitness sessions in partnership with York Mind. These sessions are fun, informal and for all abilities. Whether it's the first time you've exercised or whether you're a regular, we will ensure you have a great session and get a lot out of it. Taking part in physical activity not only keep you physically healthier, but supports good mental health too - we reckon you'll definitely finish the session with a smile on your face so come along and get involved. We'll meet on the Eastern end of Millennium Bridge (near the end of Maple Grove) before having a short walk over to the equipment.
