Millennium Fields Volunteer Day

March 8 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Fishergate side of Millennium Bridge, Bottom of Maple Grove
York, YO10 4EH
+ Google Map

Join us at Millennium Fields to help maintain and improve this award winning grassland site. We’ll be doing various tasks on the grassland and small woodland to maintain and improve these areas for both wildlife and people. This month we’ll be preparing the ground and sowing wildflower seeds in the woodland and in the meadow. This will improve these areas for pollinators and other invertebrates and will make sure we keep the site buzzing! Any age and ability welcome. Under 13s must be accompanied by an adult and 13-17 year olds need parental consent. Free entry. These sessions are supported by the Growing Green Spaces fund. Growing Green Spaces is a small grants programme funded by City of York Council and managed by York CVS.
